  • PAYMENT: All classes and sessions must be paid for in advance through the Acuity app. Monthly memberships are automatically charged every 30 days using the card on file. Additional payment information can be found on the Payment Authorization Form.
  • CLASS CANCELLATIONS: We know life happens! Just give us 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Late cancellations or no-shows will lose their class credit. Thanks for helping us keep classes running smoothly!
  • MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATIONS: Memberships may be cancelled at any time, but must be made in writing. Please provide your name, contact information, reason for cancellation, and the requested last day of membership in your written request. Monthly fees or unused classes are non-refundable, whether used or unused.

HEALTH:

  • PAST + CURRENT ISSUES/CONCERNS: Please let us know of any health issues, concerns, injuries, or disabilities you have before class. Thankfully, Pilates is safe and doctor-recommended for most conditions! In rare cases, a medical note approving you for Pilates from your doctor or Physical Therapist may be required. Please inform your instructor immediately if you are experiencing any pain before, during or after class.
  • ILLNESS: To ensure the health and safety of all members, please cancel/reschedule class if you have had a fever (100.4 degrees or higher) in the past 24 hours. Should you be experiencing any flu-like symptoms, cough, or digestive issues, or have been exposed to COVID-19, you are asked to cancel your class.
  • PROPER NUTRITION: Avoid eating a large meal immediately before class; however, do not come to class on an empty stomach either. Please be sure you are well nourished and rested.
  • SMOKING/VAPING: While it is encouraged that you always avoid smoking and vaping, if you do, please avoid smoking/vaping 30 minutes before and after class. In addition, the studio is a smoke/vape-free environment. Smoking and/or vaping is prohibited on the property.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE & ENVIRONMENT:

  • ARRIVAL: Please arrive 5 to10 minutes prior to your class beginning. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed in class for safety reasons. The first 10 minutes of class are a warm-up for your body. It is not safe to begin working out without properly warming your body up, and therefore, late entry cannot be allowed.
  • NOISE: Please keep noise levels to a minimum, especially when other sessions are in progress.
  • CLEANLINESS: For the health and safety of everyone, please wipe down all equipment used and place it back where you got it. Please put all springs on the reformer, lay your headrest flat, and hang long loops on the pegs.
  • EQUIPMENT: Please treat all equipment with respect and only use it as the instructor advises. You are not allowed to use the equipment on your own or without proper supervision/instruction.
  • PERSONAL BELONGINGS: Please place personal, non-essential belongings in the cubbies underneath the benches. Happy To Your Core is not responsible for any article that is lost, stolen, or damaged in or about the studio.
  • SHOES: Please keep all outside shoes by the benches or in the cubbies underneath.
  • ATTIRE: Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move and stretch in. Wearing layers is recommended, so you can remove layers as you work out and warm up. Most people wear leggings, a sports bra, a comfortable shirt/light jacket or a sweatshirt. Grip socks are required. You can bring your own or purchase them at the studio. Avoid wearing clothing with zippers or hard/pointed jewelry that can snag the equipment. Please avoid wearing strong scents/perfumes due to sensitivities and/or allergies.
  • FOOD & DRINK: Please bring a water bottle with a lid that can easily close and stay closed while not in use to avoid spills. Please refrain from bringing food into the studio.
  • PHONE & SMART WATCH: Please silence cell phones once in the studio and limit smart watch usage.
  • CHILDREN IN THE STUDIO: Childcare is not provided, and children are not permitted in the studio during your sessions. Children waiting on benches in such a small studio can make it uncomfortable for other adults to work out. The studio must be a comfortable and safe space for all who use it. Children are not allowed to be left in your car unattended while you are in class. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Thank you for respecting this policy.
  • OLDER CHILDREN: Children 13 years and above are allowed to take private sessions with a parent present or can take a semi-private session with a parent. Children 16 years old and above can take group classes or private sessions without a parent present after a parent or legal guardian has signed his/her waiver and agreement.
  • SERVICE ANIMALS: Due to potential allergies of other clients, service animals are not allowed.
  • PARKING: Please Park in the designated parking areas. Please always be mindful not to block anyone in. Thank you!
  • INCLUSIVITY: Happy To Your Core is a small, close-knit studio, offering a small and close-knit experience – not just physically between each station, but also with each other. Every single member feeling safe and welcomed, despite any differences, is of the utmost importance. The following behavior is expected – no judgment about race, ethnicity, size, gender, religion, political view, etc. Politics and religion will be left outside of the studio. It will be vital that every member hold this same respect for each other, and if not, your membership could be terminated.
  • COURTESIES: Please be mindful that the studio is located on personal property. You are not allowed to be at the studio or on the property without prior permission outside of the time of your scheduled class. Likewise, just as it is our goal for you to feel safe at the studio, instructors need the same from you. The studio reserves the right to terminate your membership. If the studio terminates your membership, you will receive a refund of any unused portions of any prepaid membership fees.
  • PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE CONSENT: By attending classes or sessions at Happy To Your Core, you consent to the use of photos and videos featuring you for promotional purposes (social media, website, marketing). In signing this agreement, you understand you will not receive monetary compensation for any photo or video you are featured in. If you prefer that your photo or video featuring you be used, please make that request in writing to the studio. All intellectual property rights to the photos and videos taken by the studio belong to Happy To Your Core.

STUDIO CLOSURES:

  • HOLIDAYS: The studio will be closed for the following Holidays – New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. There may be abbreviated hours on New Year’s Eve or other non-major Holidays. Classes cancelled by the studio will be provided with the option to make up the session at a later date, or if you are unable to make up your class, you will be offered a refund the following month, but you must make that request in writing.
  • INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the event of inclement weather, the studio will evaluate the immediate conditions and forecast to make the best possible decision on any necessary closures. Closures may include cancelling classes for the entire day, closing early, or opening late. Should your class be affected, the studio will notify you as soon as possible and do our best to make up the class when weather and time permits. Please ensure that the studio has your current contact information, as notification to scheduled clients will be made by phone and email. Also, be sure to check the social media pages on Facebook and Instagram for any changes in the studio schedule. If you feel unsafe getting out in inclement weather and the studio remains open, please try to cancel your class 24 hours or more in advance, allowing someone else to fill your spot.
  • OTHER CLOSURES: Should the studio close due to personal illness, emergency, or scheduled vacation, the studio will let all affected clients know as soon as possible. The studio will work with each client to choose another day/time to reschedule class, and if rescheduling is not possible, unused classes will be rolled over to the following month or, if needed, a refund will be issued.
